Each year I like to buy what to me is the ultimate winter essential that is both cosy and stylish: the jumper dress. Last year it was a fair isle jumper dress and the previous year it was a kimono shaped jumper dress. This Autumn/Winter I have wanted to inject more colour into my wardrobe so what could be better than this electric blue cable knit? I wanted to make the colour pop by teaming it with pastel shades. What do you think?
Lou Lou's Style tips for the jumper dress -
1. You can wear anything on your legs - skinny jeans, leggings or tights. If the jumper dress is plain, try a pair of patterned tights.
2. Wear a belt to cinch in at the waist. It will also help break up the outfit. Skinny belts are the most on-trend at the moment.
3. If you can't find the right jumper dress for you, try looking through charity shops for an extra-large men's chunky knit jumper and cinch it in with a wide or medium sized belt.

ReplyDeleteI have to admit I have never been a big fan of jumper dresses but you look lovely and I like all the little touches you've added. I'm also loving the idea of wearing an old mans massive jumper as a dress!!
